Wow, why was this made into anything more than a post about a mosque... All I can say is I thank my lucky stars that most of you guys aren't in power.. :/ The turban is more than a head dress to muslims, it's a religious thing. Canada has always upheld freedom of religion whenever possible and reasonable. I don't think a turban is anything offensive :/

PS: Though in a vet's club I think it would be offensive.

You come to live in our country, you take your turban off and pay tribute to our country's warriors.

If I ever visit a mosque I will wear a turban if required or allowed. To me that would be an honour.

 so if i made a religion that i was allowed to run naked all the time anywhere     i would be allowed   since Canada is freedom of religion

Without getting into a pissfest, my view is this:

Anyone who takes a book that was written thousands of years ago literally or seriously, needs some serious help.

I'm no expert on the 4 versions I have. I often question them. I believe they are good books.
