I'm not sure if I can where I had to be signed up by an actual former member of the Air Force. I can sign you into the club. I've been a member there for the last few years and was a member way back many years ago.

I suppose it's only logical. The veterans are getting older and won't be around forever. The club would slowly dwindle away if they all passed away. I'll check it out for you.

Very few members are veterans...a lot of younger people,,,that never wore a uniform

I only go there once in a blue moon. I have a hard time getting a parking space. I heard there are a lot of new faces there.

I can't park my bike where the smokers go. I don't want to park in the handicap zone even though I qualify to. (I would hate to have to explain that if a cranky veteran tossed my bike out into the street). I can't park where the cars park for fear of getting the bike run over. I chained it to the propane tank one night just as it was refill time.

They do have a problem with parking.

A week ago we had a dance downstairs and they had one upstairs.....just a wee bit crowed .

I'm not really sure. Every Friday there used to be a free meal and you could bring up to 3 other people. Now the meal costs a couple of dollars but it's still worth it. I think there's still a free pool table there. It's a place where I've never seen any fights. People seem respectful to each other. You don't see a lot of the head games people play in regular bars. I like the place.

I had the idea of inviting three people and charging them each a beer in exchange for a meal. I would get my membership money back in less than two weeks that way. The system caught up to me before I had a chance to try out the idea.
