Sue Stultz annual turkey drive, Moncton Head start recycles and giant yard sale. These are not isolated cases but similar things take place all over the country. So I feel safe in saying we care about each other in Canada.
64.7 % of us turned out to vote at the last federal election so I suppose you could say that 35.3% of us don't care enough to at least go vote but that still leaves the majority caring about the direction of the country

I suppose , though I am not quite sure that in this case you are referring to imigrants that ask to be allowed to follow some of their customs here. If Just.me, Aprilwine, and CL went to Iraq or Iran (as an example please don't I don't want you to die) Should they be forced to wear hijabs and birka's should we stop people from those countries from wearing them here ? Should we not allow them their holy days ? Do the Native north americans force us to give up ours and only recognize theirs ?

I Personally say build up a huge troop presence on the borders,remove all governmental assets (including every last piece of military equipment, every computer system that was used by the government, all "canadian" industries, anything and everything that has to do with provincial police forces and national police forces cause they aren't a province any more, then that troop presence on the border marches in and takes it over. But thats me and I am a tad extreme
