Heh, two excellent tips, Zymry, thanks!

I had a BBQ steak and baked potato for supper tonight.  Yummy, but I found I just sucked most of my steak and chewed it a bit and then took it out of my mouth and put it on my plate for garbage.  It had too much fat on it for me.  When I chew, if I hit fat, out she comes.  I'm not eating it.

Need to get a better butcher...so you can eat that yummy BBQ steak..!!!!

I had a mars bar and a glass of Milk....I think a Mars Bar should be a food group

What do you guyz think of the energy drinks that are all the rage now?

I don't drink them but everywhere I go, I see people drinking them.  Is it all about caffine in these drinks?  They're expensive too, plus some stores won't sell them to children.  What do ya think?

All of the ones I have had tasted horrid but were rather habit forming, I suppose much like coffee is. " I lack energy pop a can, hmmm need more energy pop a can". It's mostly about the sugar for the quick energy then the guarana and caffeine (spelling).

I really like them..I will drink a Red Bull or Monster Energy about an hour before I go to play hockey..They give me a bit more energy...But some of them when you come down is like having a hang over....

They work quite well. I used to like pedalling and taking breaks to sip on some Jolt 220. Unfortunately, I think the stuff causes the battery in my electronics to run down quicker. In my case neer beer (.5%) works quite well as does ice water and a multi vitamin.

Well now.....interesting replies.

I'm not giving up my tea.  I would haffta if I added anything more to drink.  I drink quite a bit now.

My son brought a can of some kind of energy drink to try.  He keeps trying to suck me  into trying new things.  "Just try it Mom."

Anywayz, it's been in the fridge now for about 2 months.......the same as with some kind of snack bar he brought.......I think last year.


He says....."around 2:00 in the afternoon I start to feel tired.  I drink this stuff and go, go, go the rest of the day."

Pooey.....a little rest that time of day, if ya can will make ya go, go, go.

Soup and cornflakes is a lot better for you than soup and crackers even though Mr. Christie does make good crackers.
