Every child deserves a chance to amend things done..He may now see and appreciate what he had with u and his father now....

Sorry, this wasn't the original thread that started this issue so there is missing info regarding the whole situation. I also agree that everyone deserves a second chance as well as a third one. This is more like his 5th one. I know I know he was a teen back then, but I'm more concern of the safety of my child. The time before last, he stole most of my kid's electronics (DVD player, video games system etc.. and never showed any remorse for doing it to a 6/7 year old)

Not only the stealing that is a issue, he is a american has no SIN for canada cannot work here. He needs to get out of the crack house he's at but he lives 3 days no-stop driving away from us. If he would have his duel it woudl be fine but I'm concern that he will not be able to work and go back to the same old friends he used to hang out with and get in trouble. On top of that we can take the chance of getting him here but there is no garantee he will be able to cross the border. I guess time will tell what is going to go on. I fear the worse is going to happen Crying [:'(]

I remember the other threads vividly and what he had done..Such as racking up the pay per view porn from what I recall...

But a kid is a kid..and where he is he will only get worse without someone giving him a chance...He has already shown some responsibility by wanting to get his GED

In all seriousness, despite all the sick twisted little forum games I play, despite how snarky, condescending, off the wall, inappropriate, I can be . I feel poorly for your situation and I am so very glad you have people both on the forums and in "real life" that you can talk to when things get as rough for you as they have been.

Chin up it can't rain all the time,

    Sincerely Ed

Well.... ummm yeah i don't have anyone other than the forum Sad [:(]

I don't have any friends really  (hard to believe huh lol)

just.me your right that was the original post but there was way more that just the bills. I know kids will be kids and yes he has shown some responsibility to get his GED (even thougth he could have went to school instead he chose not to casue he just didn't want to go to school) which has really no relevance right now. It's more the fact that there is chance that he cannot cross the border. He can't work here in canada. He absolutly needs to be able to work so that he can learn the responsibility of being a adult. If he doesn't work he will stay at the house, hook back up with his loser friends and start drugs again and due to not having any money will steal again, that is what is scaring me.

I'm apologetic I misunderstood, from what I read it sounded like you knew/know some of the forumites away from the computer as well.

And yes actually it is you seem a very decent enough woman.

Re: Hey catiouslizard...some advice from a kid for your kid..

Yes we have all the forms at home but it's not a week process. It can actually go from a few months to a few eyars before it gets done. He has been in trouble with the law on both sides of the border. We know whatever he did here (grand theft auto) didn't go on his record but we don't know for sure everything he has done out there, if anything would provent him from crossing. (thanks for correcting notme lol joking notme)

Thanks for your kind words zymry(oops corrected your name hope i got it right this time lol), I know it seems lame for me to have to go on here just to let things out. I'm sorry and I really try not bother posting like this but man i really needed to just have different opinions on what I can suggest to my b/f

Yes you got the name right. And no it isn't lame at all.

The relationships here can be as real as any other ones.We are after all, people. for all our faults and foibles. Sometimes a different point of view is needed, sometimes people on the internet are safer for you to confide in.
