I still haven't looked at this video. Last night I was 3 sheets to the wind and full of p155 and vinegar so I avoided it. Violence against kids, elderly, or animals usually gets my blood boiling especially after a few brew.

I'm a bit confused, because as far as I can tell, those soldiers didn't do anything to that dog.  They were just making fun of it.  Sure, that's disgusting in itself, but I didn't see what I thought I was going to see.

And besides, this is a country that's been at war for years now.  Soldiers that are there for any length of time are going to be different than before they first got there. 

Not defending their behaviour, just examining it.  Anyone who knows me knows how much I like to bash anything Iraq war related.

I kinda agree with mike here.

Other than the rock thowing (which wasn't very nice seeing the dog was suffering enough). But I mean they are there killing people and their mentalities are not all 100%. They can shoot a guy and watch him die. It wasn't a funny video (and I don't see where they got amusment out of it) but damn they have seen much much worse than that and for them it was just a different sight to see other than people dropping dead. They knew the dog was suffering and from what I saw was going to put him out of his misery. It doesn't justify trowing rocks and laughing but got to give these guys a break.

It's not because of them they are at war it's Bush. They just have to do as they are told. 

But as mike I am in no way defending them as a decent human being would have put the dog out of his misery ASAP instead.
