1 3/4 cups flour
1 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup cold water
1 cup chopped walnuts
20 caramels, unwrapped
1 can Eagle Brand milk
1 can apple pie filling
Combine oatmeal, flour, sugar, salt and soda; cut in butter till crumbly. Save 1 1/2 cup of thismixture. Press remaining in bottom of 9x13 pan. Bake 15 minutes. Add nuts to reserved mixture.
Melt caramels with milk; stirring until smooth.
Spoon apple filling over crust; top with caramels and then with topping. Bake 20 minutes till set at 375°
Cool and serve with ice cream.
