    Description & Services
Description of service(s) United Singles is a support group for single people who are widowed, divorced, separated, or never married.
United Single events are not dating mediums.

The group has something to offer everyone: caring, and friendship to those at a turning point in their lives; fun activities (dances, volleyball (open to non-members), card evenings (45's), pot luck dinners, Sunday brunches, pool, bowling, out-of-town trips); opportunity to meet other singles with whom you have common experiences, regular meetings with social activities and speakers. Confidentiality will be respected.

Within United Singles there are a variety of support systems available to members. One is the Buddy System, a service that provides extra support to those members experiencing difficulties and would like to talk to someone in the group on a one-to-one basis; this is a non-judgmental and absolutely confidential service. Any member of the executive can be contacted to arrange for this service.
