    Dunst Disses Spidey 4 Rumors

Don't really like her as Mary Jane anyway...I wanted that part to go to Alicia Witt........

The producers and the studio say there will be a Spider-Man 4, but it'll apparently be coming with a new cast and a new director — unless it takes place with Peter Parker and his pals in the old folks' home. Adding to recent interviews in which Spidey himself, aka star Tobey Maguire, insists May 4's 3 is his final performance as the web-slinging superhero, co-star Kirsten Dunst says she and director Sam Raimi need a break, too. "We would all do it together, because Sam, Tobey and I are a team now, but there's no way (a sequel's) going to happen very soon," Dunst said at the ShoWest convention in Las Vegas. "Do they want to give Sam Raimi a heart attack? … Sam has dedicated so much of his life, like more than 10 years, to the Spider-Man franchise with so much passion and love, the man is burnt out at this time. I think he needs a long vacation to put his creativity towards something else, and then maybe we'll revisit it." As for Dunst's more immediate big-screen future, she confirms to Variety that she'll be playing Blondie singer Deborah Harry in a new biopic. "She chose me," Dunst said. "So anyone who disputes that choice can take it up with her."

    Re: Spider Man 3

As a kid, I grew up reading Spiderman comics. I waited for years for the first Spiderman movie to hit the big screen that allowed movement the way computers have allowed on the movie-making proccess. I studied morphine imaging ( graphics) i guess to some its called, and love the work computers have brought to the viewer. But I still dont see something in this new graphics imaging. Being a visual soul, i still cant spot warmth in the graphics. Star Wars, Fanstic 4, Spiderman, ....i still can't spot warm characters in the graphics

Its close...so very close...but theres still something not right .....i learn all the time and work with amazing software ( when my PC's are working right ..hehe ) and hope to see a hint of the characters in this new Spiderman3 movie

to all you Spiderman fans!!...." Any friend of Spiderman is a friend of mine" ...for all you NON Spiderman fans ...." hey...give Spiderman a break ...he can't fly like Superman and  hes not as sinister as Batman " ....ha!

..he just sticks to walls and swings on a web line ....oh!!...and loves a Redhead  ...isnt the redhead enough to suffer through...HAHA!

    keep smiling

Right on, Arrtist.  Spidey's an icon.......it's about more than just the visuals, it's about the character at the core of the hero.  Peter Parker isn't some superbeing from space like Superman or a bored billionaire like Batman.  He's you and me and every other guy who's had his share of hard luck in his life.  That's what the real appeal is for me.

    Re: Spider Man 3

ya!!...Spiderman! ..he was just a kid, went to school, and liked a girl. he didnt ask to get bit by a freak spider, he didn't ask for special powers, he didnt ask for his uncle to be shot....he was just a kid! he was pushed into something he had to learn how to control!, ... then a bunch of bad guys came along and made trouble for him! Give me Spiderman anyday over all the others!

As for the redhead......i'd take a brunette anyday!....( no offence to all the lovely redheads out there)

    cheers

    Re: Spider Man 3

Or better yet, the blonde, Gwen Stacy.  Who, incidentally, is in Spidey 3.  Kinda weird how that is, eh?  Especially where in the movies Mary Jane is in Gwen's spot, and Gwen was actually killed by the Green Goblin in the comics.  They're kind of doing it backwards.
