    Re: I"ve found her online!

Hey, I just got onto this board.  Should've a long time ago, but I'm here now.

To those who keep saying "move on" or "get a life" about the whole Lisa Marshall diss from C103, all's I've got to say is, go post at or read another topic.  I couldn't give a crap about motorcycles, but you're not going to see me going to a topic on the board saying it.

Lisa meant a lot to Moncton and we've never quite been the same without her.  I'm not just talking about the bloody radio.  She fronted a lot of charity events selflessly and championed the less fortunate on a regular basis.  I know this for a fact because she assisted me in doing the same.  If you've got a problem with what she's done, then, what have YOU done lately?

Good job keeping this in the public eye via this message board, 1andonly.  I know and you know she appreciates it, as do all of us who are behind her.  She was a friend of ours, and real friends don't just turn their backs on each other.

This ain't dying until Montbourquette is gone from that station.

    Re: I"ve found her online!

You can search like I did for Q107 and AM640 Toronto, listen to their listen live links...however she's not on all the time...they have different reporters. I taped the time I heard her though and thought some might like to hear it.

I'll keep trying to figure it out!

And ..."way to go MIKE!" Well said...I NEVER understood why people like yo mama would come to this board and start dissing her...start your own thread! lol Then again I guess it makes for interesting debate. Some people like to bury their heads in the sand, and don't care enough about others to stand up for what's right..nice to see there are still out there that do.

    Re: I"ve found her online!

I'M GLAD SHE IS DOING WELL IN HER NEW LIFE. Still think hillary is an ass for the way he handles his business but thats a lesson he will have to learn for himself .its quite obviuos that he does not care for his audience opinions .

    Lisa has moved again!

She can be found here www.take5.fm

    She gets mail at lisa.marshall@take5.fm

and she responds, just like she always did!

She is a Consultant for the University of Toronto and she is loving her role mentoring and teaching her team of 32 volunteers how to do a radio program. Apparently this is an innovative endeavour by U of T, as no other volunteer radio station in the Country has a group of volunteers collaborating on a daily 1 hour and half news/talk/music program.

It's fun to hear, very grass roots, and you can hear people getting better as time passes.

They've been on the air 3 weeks, and I"ve been listening for almost 2.

You can sponsor the program Take 5 to show your support and listen online. visit www.ciut.fm for more info.

It's less that what I pay for XM satellite and I get to hear Lisa again.

    Re: Lisa has moved again!

Thanks for the links, assassin.  No doubt she appreciates that!

AND...you might want to fill out the survey going around and be heard.  See some answers I gave and you might get some ideas as to your own.  http://www.moncton.net/forum/thread/52027.aspx

    Cheers!

    Re: Lisa has moved again!

A little update on Lisa Marshall.........

She has joined The EDGE in Toronto, a...well.....edgy station that's a lot more in tune with today's audiences than what we're used to around here.

    An excerpt from milkmanunlimited.com:

    Changes at 102.1 the Edge/Toronto
    Toronto ON from Alan Cross

With the departure of Sandra, the Edge's swing announcer, there have been a few changes to the line-up.

Darryl Spring moves from part-time to full-time status as a swing announcer. He'll also spend a couple of days a week assisting MD Don Mitchell in the Edge Music Department.

Lisa Marshall is our new part-time announcer. She comes to the Edge from C103 in Moncton, New Brunswick where she was the long-time co-host of a successful morning show. We'll soon hear her Saturday mornings, through some overnights and when we require fill-ins

LoriAnn Villani works at Y108/Hamilton. In addition to working with our Corus brethren down the QEW, she'll handle a few overnight and fill-in shifts for the Edge.

Thanks to all those who applied for the recent positions at the Edge. Your material will be kept on file for future openings at the Edge and throughout Corus Radio.

    ----------------------------------------------------------

You can congratulate Lisa, if you like, at morning.mistress@gmail.com

The link for the station is http://www.edge.ca/ .  Her bio will be up soon!  This is the big time for our golden gal....The Edge has an audience of in excess of 1 million.
