    Tracadie-Sheila RCMP (District 8) are asking for the public’s assistance in relation to the theft of a Yamaha BWS 2006 blue scooter on July 7, 2008 at approximately 2:00 p.m. behind Vitres Péninsule in Tracadie-Sheila. The suspect, who was not wearing a helmet, reportedly drove the scooter on Benoît St. before turning North onto Luce St. The suspect is a white male between 15 and 25 years old with short brown hair.

    The following items had been added to the scooter: blue Technigas exhaust system, black handle bars, a white rear rack and an 8-ball sticker on the front.

    The attached photo is for information purposes only and does not show the above-mentioned items.

    Tracadie-Sheila RCMP are asking anyone with information about this stolen vehicle to contact their office at 506-393-6001 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

    Armed Robbery, Moncton, N.B.


    On June 28 at 06:54am, the Codiac Regional RCMP responded to an armed robbery at Needs Convenience on Elmwood Drive in Moncton.

    The suspect entered and demanded money from the employee.She left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured.

    The suspect is described as being a female, approximately 40 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing between 130 - 145 pounds.
     
     
     

    Investigation is ongoing.

    Anyone with information is asked to contact Codiac Regional RCMP at (506)857-2400 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).

    Robbery -- Update, Moncton, N.B.

    Karri Ann Smyth, a 32 year old Moncton woman appearred in Moncton Provincial court on July 11 at 09:30am. She faces armed robbery and failure to comply with condition of undertaking charges.
    She has been sent for a 30 day assessement and returns to court on August 8 at 09:30am.

    You know, if I were her, I'd be a little ticked. They issue a notice placing her at approximately 40 and she's really just nicely 30? Maybe it's a woman thing, but I'd be royally ticked if someone over-estimated my age like that!

    Codiac Regional RCMP would like to advise businesses, that local merchants have received counterfeit $50 American dollar bills, serial numbers ID17051459A, MA52272087B, EJ05875949A.

    5 incidents have been reported in the Greater Moncton area.Investigations are ongoing.

    Please check the serial numbers and immediately report any suspicious bills to your local RCMP detachment.

    Armed Robbery, Dieppe, N.B.

    On September 2, at 8:33 pm , the Codiac Regional RCMP responded to a robbery at Pitous variety on Champlain street in Dieppe.

    A man entered wearing a mask and carrying a knife, demanded money from the clerk. The clerk refused and the suspect fled. No one was injured.
    Investigation is ongoing.

    Anyone with any information is asked to contact Codiac Regional RCMP at (506)857-2400 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).
