Get you Free Wal-Mart Calendar for just $1

Get you Free 2008 Wal-Mart, Pet Dept. Calendar for just $1

Thats right folks. A free calendar for just $1. at your friendly neighbourhood Dieppe Wal- Mart, known as Store 3056.

For years now the Lions Group with their Guide Dog Foundation and many Pet Food Suppliers have expressed their appreaction to Wal-Mart by sending each Store several hundred Pet Calendars which were given away free to people by the pet department staff to those customers making purchases there.

But,,,not this year. New store manager Dave Wood, had a great idea. Free Calendars??? Hell NO. Charge 'em a Buck for them. That the spirit Dave. What a demonstration of the Christmas Spirit. Scrouge would be so proud of you.

You can call Dave at 857-2500 and tell him what a great idea he had, or maybe just tell him where he could stick that free callendars.

    Wal-Mart...always the lowest price.

That is not the same Dave Wood I know. He doesn't work (is a slave to) Walmart. Rock on, Dave Dude.

I was quietly told that the Trinity Store still gives them away for free.

Re: Get you Free Wal-Mart Calendar for just $1

    Free for a $1 huh?

Kinda like when you buy, say, a car, and they tell you "You get 3.9% financing!!!", when in reality you are paying (therefor giving) 3.9% financing.

Or even the old saying:  "The more you buy, the more you save!!!".

Or when you get a $130.00 phone bill with a big box in the middle which says "You have saved $670.00 on your long distance this month!!!".

It's the illusion that you're getting a deal.  After all, $1 is not much money.  But it's still infinitely more than 100% free!
