Did you ever notice when you're waiting for a drive about 90% of the vehicles that go up or down your street resemble the vehicle you're waiting for?
When I'm waiting for a minivan it looks like there is a minivan convention on my street.
When I'm waiting for a taxi my street looks like Times Square Junior.
When I'm waiting for a small car every Matchbox Car and Tonka Toy in town goes by.
Can anybody please explain this phenonenom to me?

its called...wishful....thinking

It's probably just that you notice them more when your mind is conditioned to watch for them. Take a couple of average days and tally up what's driving by. (You'd have to be really bored, I know ...) Then do the same while you're waiting for a drive. It would be interesting to see if there is, in fact, a difference. 'Cause I think we've all had experiences like that.
