I'm concerned about a real nice lady I know. She is in her fifties plus a couple of decades but I did not divulge this information. I definately did not ever say she was in her eighties. Anyways, she has been under the weather since before Christmas but will not go see a doctor. I'm getting worried as usually she chops her own wood and is full of p155 and vinegar. This lady is really special to me and I don't know what to do. Should I tie her up and kidnap her then take her to see a doctor? This is starting to really eat away at me.

That should be a " Call " that her relatives make, based on evaluation of the situtation.

If she is living alone, is she able to look after herself?
Does her deteriorating condition put her at risk of hurting herself? As in starting a Fire in the place, you mentioned choping wood.

If her mental facalities are slipping away, they or you may need to make the call for her own safety and well being.

She chops her own wood when she's at home. She's also sharp as a tack with no failing memory. She has been staying with her daughter for the last couple of months.

well if the daughter is as concerned as you are then she should call her mother's family doctor and tell the situation and get advice....maybe the dr. can go to the daughters home or at least call her on the phone.....maybe at her age she doesn't want help....

OK, but is she ever going to put up a fight when we try to get her to a doctor. Makes me think of trying to tackle Granny from The Beverly Hillbillies.
