Cohen will play the Capitol in Moncton, Friday May 23 at 8 p.m.

Moncton tickets are available at the Capitol Theatre box office, at 856-4379, or www.capitol.nb.ca.

The tickets cost $72.50 (taxes included, service charge extra). There is also a limited quantity of Gold Circle seating at $100.

Cohen will be performing new songs from an album due later this year. He was inducted into Cleveland's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on March 10th of this year.

I used to have one of those Rock samplers - Fill Your Head With Rock, I think it was called - in the 70s.  I've no idea what track of his was on it, but it was such a downer listening to it. I don't mean lyrically, just musically it was dull. I wasn't moved to investigate further. Of course, it was harder to investigate back then.

I see he's 73. I had no idea he was that far ahead of Jagger.

Too rich for me. $72.50 is more than I spend on groceries in a month. It would a good show, though.
