    Pollett River run 2008

Anyone know when it is this year? We have a friend here from Pennsylvania who'd love to see it.

    Re: Pollett River run 2008

I googled and googled but all I could find were the dates for 2002, 2005, 2006, and 2007. Usually it's around the mid or late April when the water is high. I'd say, with the amount of snow we got lately and the way it's melting, it should be about the third Saturday. Please don't quote me on it.

It's always the last Saturday in April and the Ladies run is Victoria Day weekend. 'Fraid I won't be making it this year. Doing a Two Day Crusie of the River Wye (Afon Gŵy in Wales)

I do beleive Rockinchair Ron is right. I found dates of people doing a couple of weeks earlier but they mentioned doing the Pollett River run but not doing THE Pollett River run. Here's a site you can check on for other stuff you might want to know. http://pollett.lostcaper.com/index.htm Oh geez....The answer was right at the top of the page.
