I might be moving to Alma Street and since I am not from Moncton I was wondering what this area is like...

Alma is all right.  You're minutes from being right downtown.  However, 4 or 5 streets away it gets a little seedier.

Alma is a pretty good place. The lower end is a bit noisy about 2:00 am to 3:30 am when the weather gets nice.

You're about midpoint between two grocery stores, one in either direction.  But if you go west, you get a liquor store with it.  Probably 1.5 km.

Interesting that the selling point for the newest most awesome Sobeys is the liquor store.
