    Point and Click Games

Does anyone here play point and click games?

If ya don't know what I mean, here's a link to one of my favourites called Samorost.

On the page that comes up, is the game and if you look around, there is a walkthrough in case you are having trouble.  In the game point and click things....try to figure out where to click next and what to do.  Have fun!

    Re: Point and Click Games

WOW!  You guyz tried the game.  That's participaction let me tell ya.

Yes, the game is hard but only if you're not used to playing point and click games.  There are oddles of point and click games.  This particular one is one my my favs, but there aren't many like it out there.

If you are game to try it again, I'll help.

click the game.....copy and past this in another browser and stay here so you can read the instructions.  http://jayisgames.com/archives/2004/05/samorost.php Click on the picture below Samorost.
screen 1: click the metal cylinder at the top and get the telescope out. you get a cinema scene of another world going to crach into our hero's. off he flies to save his home.

Screen 2: click the smoker and wait until there is nothing left to smoke. click him again, and he throws the thing down. click the low hanging wire on the ski lift, so it goes back up, then use the smoker's inhaling end as a key in the box. Press the red button, then get the monk out of your way, point the sign to the left, and ski the hero down.

screen 3: click the bobber at the end of the fishing reel. click all the lizards that try to climb up, then click the pterodactyl that picks at the fish bones. presto!

screen 4: click the knob on lthe log at the right until you cant anymore. click the hole in the left foreground log, then click the hole to the lower left of the hero a few times, so the bees and then the guy with the lightbulb will come out. click the button below the hero, then click the silver knob on the elevator and then the hero.

screen 5: click all the worms when they come out, then click the hole in the middle of the screen. press the button on the record player, then shift the music twice. click the owl a few times, and off you go

screen 6: open the elevator's door, then move the metal rod on the tree. wait until the anteater is eating, then click the stairs. open the power box and set the switches like it shows on the door, then go in.

screen 7: turn on the light, then, using the left hand set of buttons, set the dial to 50. click the middle left button, click the whaeel at the top, and there you go. :)

Well, I made it to the Second screen.....Big Smile [:D]

The last time I played one of these was several years ago when a Lady send me an invitation to her Site which was sort of like this game.

The object was to prove myself mentally  worthy of her .

If I succeeded ,I would find her Picture and how to contact her.

Well,,after several frustrating hours of barely advancing, I wrote back asking her to prove herself  worthy of my time trying to play the game.

Never heard from her again.  Big Smile [:D]

PS; She had found my "then " profile somewhere and was naturaly intrigued, charmed, mesmerised, swooned, capitivated

    ................................................................................................................

    and finally disapointed.  Embarrassed [:$]

Anyway.....there must be some guy on this Forum who can save our Manly Pride and complete this game.
