Does anyone know where I could go play badmington? Back home, we used to pay like 2$ for the night and play. But I haven't been able to find anywhere that I could just go play. (there used to be a add in the paper but that was like 2 years ago and never seen it again since. Please help I need something to do for fun lol.

The CEPS at the university will let you in, but it's like 7-8$ to get in.  Better to make it a whole day and get in all your activity, because it costs the same for 5 minutes as for 5 hours.

The YMCA also has courts, but I think it's 10$ a shot there (ouch!).

When I was young I used to go to a high school gym in the evenings to play.  Maybe some of the schools have badminton nights...

I haven't played in years - other than in the back garden. The City Council ran the sports centre where I last played...oh... must have been over 10 years ago. I think it cost a few quid an hour then so $10 seems perfectly reasonable between 2 or 4 players.

Let me know if you find a place and I will come and play. Not every night but I am sure I can find some time for fun.

Thanks for all the info. I think I will go with paladin on this one, it sounds more of the type I used to play when I was back home. I wouldn't want to go somewhere and be by myself hahaha. and tuesdays is just the days I wanted as Keith has band practice :) thanks y'all

Ah, well that's a bit different then.

Unless that includes other facilities like gym, swim or sauna, that sort of thing in which case it could still be a good deal.
