I bought some batteries, but they weren't included.

...I know that one of the ladies who work at Shoppers in Highfield Square had some cats to give away.

She had too many herself, she just couldn't turn them away...

Not sure if it's still the case, or the age of the cat(s).

I am looking for a little girl kitten, preferably neutered. If you have anyone you know giving them away, let me know.

Bulert.......there are quite a few kittens free on Kijiji...take a look

Does the kitten have to be female before or after it's neutered?

I checked there. most of them are either gone, male, or too old

SPCA.

Most ads are for older cats that are fixed not kittens.  Most people don't fix a kitten then turn around and give it away the next day.

If you want a fixed kitten you will more then likely have to fix it yourself or be willing to adopt a cat that is over a year.
