    WOOH

Thanks to the anger infused into me by notme I just shaved a whole minute off my 2 mile run :D at 220lbs, running 2 miles in just over 17 minutes is pretty decent.

No can't say I know him. I won't even go so far to say that I'm a runner. I'm much more of a bodybuilder :) Just have to run to stay relatively lean. I hate cardio :(

I also dislike cardio work, so I do pilates, I was surprised to find it was quite fun

Pilates is very intense :D It's a good way to make yourself look dumb too! It's definitely a blast!

I'm surprised I never heard of him. Having been around the religious neighbourhood a bit, trying to train for a marathon, and studying shotokan karate for a while, I thought I knew everybody. Who did he study under?

The problem with North America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

You hate cardio exercises? The best excercise in the world is a run through the woods. Good for heart, lungs, reflexes, etc etc etc.

    Re: WOOH

I find cardio so incredibly boring. I would much rather struggle deadlifting 270 lbs than to struggle to run a faster mile. I find moving heavy ass weights to be much more gratifying.

All the muscle in the world is useless without a good heart or lungs to operate it.

    Re: WOOH

I do cardio :) I just don't like it. I'm quite lean at 220lbs. I play basketball at a very high level regularly and run usually 1-2 times a week. Doing weights also increases your cardio :)
