Hey! I just saw Superman Returns and I really liked it. It was WAY better than I thought it was going to be. So, rent it or buy it if you get the chance.

With all due respect, John, it got a thumbs down from me.

I was waiting to see this movie for years, and then it came out and left me with a bad taste in my mouth.  Why has Superman become such a mute?  He hardly ever talks through the whole film.  And Kevin Spacey's version of Lex Luthor was pointless and humorless.  A big disappointment there.  Lois Lane was pretty empty too. 

I'm surprised at all this, because Brian Singer is such a great filmmaker, BUT he did pledge to make a much better film next time.

Well, I enjoyed it. So....i'll lower one of the thumbs for you...and give it a one thumb up.

Hey man...a lot of people enjoyed it!  It's all good.  But, I do have higher hopes for the next one.
