    Found this info today...

    "I recently heard from a waitress in New Brunswick who was not allowed to serve table unless the customers specifically asked for an English-speaking waitress (the assumption is that all waitresses are bilingual).  She wrote to me, asking me what I can do to help.  My answer - "not much, I'm afraid!!"

    In what part of NB should English have to be a special request? Once again ...the minority (French) win ... simply because they make more noise about their "rights."

    French isn't a minority in Traqcadie-Sheila. Go there, you'll see.

    I'm not agreeing with this post that it should be requested but if you go to that town I can garantee that you will need to request a english speaking person to serve you.

    Re: Found this info today...

    I was refering to this comment {I recently heard from a waitress in New Brunswick who was not allowed to serve table unless the customers specifically asked for an English-speaking waitress }

    I don't think it's OK for her to only serve tables when requested a english speaking waitress

    Re: Found this info today...

    Exactly. I just don't like the way they blamed french people

    "the minority (French) win ... simply because they make more noise about their "rights." " comment really wasn't necessary.

    Obviously the chick ain't working in a minority french place. French has to be the majority where she is working.
