I`ve spoken with previous tenants of his who were also ripped off. Looks like each day I`m learning new things about this crook and lier.
Hopefully by posting this I will have saved folks from renting a place from them.
It gets me to the laws surrounding rentals. As we all know there are bad tenants out there and there are laws to help protect a landlord. But what about tenants who have been ripped off by lying landlords? Speak with the rentalsman he says it`s a civil matter and better for the courts.
Basically a rentalsman is just a glorified keeper of the damage deposits and nothing more!
Why can`t the city create a scheme where by for a landlord to start renting out properties, he has to obtain a license proving him/herself to be an effective and decent landlord? Unlicensed landlords are shutdown. Some places in the States do this and I know some in the UK too, it works very well too.
Liers and crooks like Marsh Enterprises should never be allowed to rent out properties. What they do is no different from defrauding a bank, it gets jail time.
