Does anybody have any tv show lyrics they like?

Boy, the way Glenn Miller played. Songs that made the Hit Parade.
Guys like us, we had it made. Those were the days.
Didn't need no welfare state. Everybody pulled his weight.
Gee, our old LaSalle ran great. Those were the days.
And you know who you were then. Girls were girls and men were men.
Mister, we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again.
People seemed to be content. Fifty dollars paid the rent.
Freaks were in a circus tent. Those were the days.
Take a little Sunday spin, go to watch the Dodgers win.
Have yourself a dandy day that cost you under a fin.
Hair was short and skirts were long. Kate Smith really sold a song.
I don't know just what went wrong. Those Were The Days.
Remember yesterday, respect tomorrow, live for today.

Now,,,,what did you expect?

Have Gun Will Travel reads the card of a man. A knight without armor in a savage land. His fast gun for hire head's the calling wind. A soldier of fotune is the man called Paladin.
Paladin, Paladin Where do you roam? Paladin, Paladin, Far, far from home.

Come and listen to a story about a man named Jed A poor mountaineer, barely kept his family fed, Then one day he was shootin at some food, And up through the ground came a bubblin crude.
Oil that is, black gold, Texas tea.
Well the first thing you know ol Jed's a millionaire, Kinfolk said "Jed move away from there" Said "Californy is the place you ought to be" So they loaded up the truck and moved to Beverly.
Hills, that is. Swimmin pools, movie stars.
Well now its time to say good by to Jed and all his kin. And they would like to thank you folks fer kindly droppin in. You're all invited back a gain to this locality To have a heapin helpin of their hospitality
Hillybilly that is. Set a spell, Take your shoes off.
Y'all come back now, y'hear?.
Remember yesterday, respect tomorrow, live for today.

I never knew this show had lyrics. I guess I must have been watching the show with the sound turned off.

Heroes, heroes, husky men of war, Sons of all the hreoes, of the war before. We're all heroes up to our ear o's You ask questions We make suggestions That's what we're heroes for.
All good heroes love a good, big fight Open up the bomb bays and brighten up the night. We applaud the people who laud us, You pull the roses, We punch the noses, That's what we're heroes for.
What's a hero do? Well, we're not gonna tell ya Cause we wish we knew. That's why we heroes are so few. We've got a slogan From Colonel Hogan And Colonel Hogan's a hero too.
Never flinch, boys, never be afraid, Heroes are not born, boys, heroes are made. Ask not why, boys, never say die, boys, Answer the call, remember we'll all be heroes forever more.
Remember yesterday, respect tomorrow, live for today.

Now, we're talking oldddddddddd...lol
Fireball XL5

I wish I was a spaceman, the fastest guy alive
I'd fly you ‘round the universe. In fireball xl5.
Way out in space together. Conquerors of the sky.
My heart would be a fireball.
A fireball.
Every time I gaze into your starry eyes.
We’d take a path to Jupiter and maybe very soon. We’d cruise along the Milky Way and land upon the Moon.
To a wonderland of stardust. We’ll zoom our way to mars.
My heart would be a fireball.
A fireball.
And you would be my Venus of the stars.”

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, A tale of a fateful trip That started from this tropic port Aboard this tiny ship.
The mate was a mighty sailing man, The skipper brave and sure. Five passengers set sail that day For a three hour tour, a three hour tour.
The weather started getting rough, The tiny ship was tossed, If not for the courage of the fearless crew The minnow would be lost, the minnow would be lost.
The ship set ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle With Gilligan The Skipper too, The millionaire and his wife, The movie star The professor and Mary Ann, Here on Gilligans Isle.
So this is the talel of the castways, They're here for a long, long time, They'll have to make the best of things, It's an uphill climb.
The first mate and the Skipper too, Will do their very best, To make the others comfortable, In the tropic island nest.
No phone, no lights no motor cars, Not a single luxury, Like Robinson Crusoe, As primative as can be.
So join us here each week my freinds, You're sure to get a smile, From seven stranded castways, Here on "Gilligan's Isle."
Remember yesterday, respect tomorrow, live for today.
